Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series, it shifts pressurized oil between ports to start, stop, or change actuator motion. The solenoid coil is rated for 24 V DC and draws 1.25 A, so the control cabinet can power it directly from standard low-voltage supplies. At 30 W nominal power the coil generates manageable heat and, because the duty cycle is 100 percent S1, the valve can remain energized continuously without thermal derating. A maximum switching frequency of 4.2 operations per second supports rapid cycling on presses or material-handling arms. Flow enters through a subplate with the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, allowing interchange with other CETOP 03 components. The body mounts in any position, which simplifies manifold layout, and passes up to 80 liters per minute while withstanding 350 bar on ports A, B, and P.

The coil accepts a ±10 percent voltage swing around 24 V, maintaining consistent magnetic force when supply lines drop or surge. Class F insulation prevents winding damage when the surface temperature climbs, and that temperature may reach 120 °C under worst-case ambient and cycling. Backpressure on the return line can rise to 210 bar at port T without causing leakage past dynamic seals.
