The 4WE6G73-6X/EG205N9K4/A12 directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series and directs pressurized fluid in hydraulic automation circuits. The valve follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern so it mounts on standard subplates without adapters. It withstands 350 bar on ports P, A, and B, allowing control of high-pressure actuators. A 205 V DC solenoid drives the spool and draws 0.16 A during energization. When powered the assembly passes up to 80 l/min, while return flow on port T may reach 210 bar without compromising function. A concealed manual override is available for commissioning or emergency shifts, and this feature can be used safely when tank pressure stays below 50 bar.
Thermal limits are set by a maximum coil surface temperature of 120 °C, supporting continuous duty in warm manifolds. The electrical interface employs a DIN EN 175301-803 form K4 connector, and the housing achieves IP65 sealing against dust and low-pressure water jets once the plug is fitted. Internal passages accept hydraulic media cleaned to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent abrasion and sticking. The unit falls under protection class I per VDE 0580, so a protective earth connection is required. The A12 switching-time increase option slows spool travel for smoother circuit response.
