Class F coil insulation supports continuous service by withstanding elevated winding temperatures, and the allowed coil surface temperature reaches 120 °C before derating is required. Wiring is terminated through a 2-pole plus protective-earth connector in Design A format, offering quick plug-in serviceability. An inductive 24 V DC rest-position switch can be installed to report spool status to the controller. For reliable operation, incoming hydraulic fluid must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness level 20/18/15, which limits wear and sticking.
