Its porting pattern follows ANSI B93.9 (NFPA D03), which simplifies manifold design for North American installations. The spool accepts up to 350 bar on pressure, A, and B ports, allowing it to control high-pressure actuation circuits. The tank port withstands 210 bar, permitting elevated back-pressure return configurations. A direct-current solenoid version passes up to 80 l/min, supporting medium-flow tasks such as clamp or small press functions. The solenoid can switch at 4.2 cycles per second, giving adequate response for moderate directional change rates. Because the installation position is not restricted, designers can orient the valve horizontally or vertically to match space constraints.

The wet-armature solenoid is designed for a 24 V DC supply, which aligns with common machine control voltages, and the coil draws 1.25 A under that rating to provide a predictable electrical load. Electrical losses are limited to 30 W of nominal power, helping enclosures manage thermal build-up, while a 100 percent duty cycle lets the valve remain energized indefinitely without forced cooldown. Class F coil insulation supports continuous service by withstanding elevated winding temperatures, and the allowed coil surface temperature reaches 120 °C before derating is required. Wiring is terminated through a 2-pole plus protective-earth connector in Design A format, offering quick plug-in serviceability. An inductive 24 V DC rest-position switch can be installed to report spool status to the controller. For reliable operation, incoming hydraulic fluid must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness level 20/18/15, which limits wear and sticking.
