It directs hydraulic flow between pump, actuator, and tank ports in automation systems that require rapid on-off control. During operation ports p, a, and b can be pressurized up to 350 bar, so the unit suits high-pressure circuits. For continuous duty the valve delivers a maximum flow of 80 l/min while keeping pressure drop within design limits, and the tank port may reach 210 bar without damaging the housing. A concealed N9 manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool when power is unavailable, but this feature must only be used when return-line pressure does not exceed 50 bar. Reliable service depends on oil cleanliness of ISO 4406 20/18/15, which prevents silting in the precision spool lands. The enclosure attains IP65 once the mating connector is tightened, so dust and directed water jets cannot reach the electrics. Because the body can be installed in any orientation, designers have flexibility when arranging manifolds. With both solenoids fitted the assembly weighs 1.95 kg, easing handling during machine build or service.
