Used in hydraulic automation, it shifts oil flow between work lines through an electrically actuated spool. The spool carries symbol D, so the internal lands select predetermined flow paths when the solenoids are energized. A detent without a spring holds the spool in its last commanded position after power removal, which prevents unintended centering during machine stops. The valve connects to the control circuit with a DAL electrical interface that uses a 1/2"-14 NPT conduit entry, allowing simple wiring in industrial panels. The coil accepts 110 V AC at either 50 or 60 Hz, and it draws 220 VA at switch-on to pull the armature firmly against hydraulic forces. After energization the holding demand falls to 50 VA, reducing heat generation during steady operation. The subplate face follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, ensuring the body fits common CETOP 03 manifolds without adapter plates.
Continuous service is possible because the electromagnetic assembly is rated for a 100 % duty cycle, so frequent shifts do not require cooling pauses. Current draw stays within 0.52 A at 50 Hz and 0.39 A at 60 Hz, matching standard control transformers. An IP65 enclosure shields the coil and terminals from dust and low-pressure jets of water, supporting installation in humid plant areas. Hydraulically, the valve admits line pressures up to 350 bar on ports P, A, and B, while return port T is limited to 160 bar to protect tank lines. Flow capacity reaches 60 l/min, which suits medium-size actuators where rapid movement is needed. All dynamic seals are made from FKM, giving resistance to high temperature and common hydraulic oils. The body incorporates an ISO 8752-3×8 locating pin that aligns the valve on the manifold and prevents rotation during tightening.
