It directs hydraulic flow to cylinders or motors in automated machinery. The spool is held in place without a spring return due to the OF detent, so the selected position remains after power removal. Continuous energization is supported by a 100% duty cycle, and the coil is built for a nominal supply of 110 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. Switching requires 220 VA, after which holding consumption falls to 50 VA to reduce heating. Class H insulation and a permitted coil surface temperature of 120 °C maintain electrical safety under these thermal conditions. An IP65 housing prevents dust ingress and water jets from reaching internal components. The hydraulic section tolerates 350 bar on pressure ports and 160 bar on the T return line, letting the valve serve high-pressure circuits. Maximum rated flow is 60 l/min to accommodate medium-size actuators. A 1.0 mm throttle insert in the P port moderates flow during shifting to limit pressure surges.
