The 4WE6D6X/OFEG24N9K72L directional spool valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series and is used to route hydraulic fluid in automated equipment. It contains two spool positions to alternate flow paths as required by the control logic. The body follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern and mounts on an NFPA D03 subplate for standardized manifold layouts. Actuation is handled by wet-pin high-power solenoids that work at a nominal 24 V DC, draw 1.25 A, and consume 30 W. Both coils connect through an M12×1 four-pole plug designated K72L, speeding up installation. With its two solenoids installed, the valve adds just 1.95 kg to the manifold stack.
The unit supports a continuous duty cycle of 100 % S1, so it can remain energized without overheating. An IP65 enclosure blocks dust and water jets, making the valve suitable for harsh environments. A concealed manual override identified as N9 lets technicians shift the spool during commissioning or power loss. NBR sealing elements retain mineral-based hydraulic oil. Ports A, B, and P tolerate pressures up to 350 bar, while the tank port handles 210 bar during direct current operation. The design passes up to 80 l/min, enabling mid-range hydraulic actuators to cycle at full flow rates.
