The 4WE6D6X/EG24N9K72L AN directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WE Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery that requires reliable on-off control of pressure lines. The valve is supplied in size 6 which sets the nominal flow path dimensions. A porting pattern in accordance with ANSI B93.9 aligns the mounting face with common subplates. A duty cycle of 100 % ED (S1) lets the coil remain energized indefinitely. The coil surface may reach 120 °C before thermal limits are met. A concealed manual override labeled N9 allows local shifting without removing protective covers. Maximum switch-off overvoltage is limited to 500 V to protect the coil insulation and upstream drivers.
