The 4WE6D6X/EG24K4QMBG24/V/62 directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series and routes pressure fluid in hydraulic automation. It follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern so it fits standard CETOP 03 subplates. The valve passes a maximum direct-current flow of 80 l/min, providing adequate volume for medium-size actuators. Pressure ports P, A, and B tolerate up to 350 bar while the tank port T is limited to 210 bar, enabling safe return-line operation. A 24 V DC solenoid coil draws 1.25 A and therefore consumes 30 W during energization. Continuous energization is permissible because the coil is rated for a 100 percent duty cycle. Electrical connection is made through a 3-pole (2+PE) DIN EN 175301-803 plug which also brings in the protective earth conductor. An IP65 housing rating prevents dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from reaching the internal spool and coil.
System cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 20/18/15 so that the metering edges remain free of abrasive wear. Internally, FKM seals isolate pressure zones and resist aggressive hydraulic oils. This elastomer selection also tolerates the higher temperatures encountered during continuous cycling. An inductive QM position switch supervises the spool in position b, supplying state feedback to machine controllers. The switch is powered at 24 V DC, aligning with common PLC input levels. When the coil is de-energized, switch-off overvoltage is limited to 500 V to protect insulation and nearby electronics. Together these cleanliness, sealing, sensing, and suppression measures preserve reliable function over long service intervals.
