The VT-DFPE-A-2X/G24K0/2A1E/V directional valve belongs to the VT-DFP Directional Valves series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It converts control signals into proportional spool movement for hydraulic automation. The unit draws power from a nominal 24 V DC supply, and short-time excursions are tolerated between 21 V and 35 V so momentary dips or surges do not interrupt operation. A rated current of 0.6 A supports steady modulation, while a maximum current of 1.25 A provides headroom for peak actuation. The analog current input presents a 100 Ω load, matching typical 4–20 mA controllers. Two analog outputs each deliver up to 1.5 mA, enabling feedback to monitoring devices without overloading their inputs. When digital status signals are required, the valve supplies up to 10 mA on each digital output, sufficient for logic level indicators and opto-isolated interfaces.
This valve is fitted with short-circuit protection on every digital output so wiring faults do not damage the electronics. An IP65 degree of protection seals the housing against dust and water jets, permitting installation on machinery exposed to fluid spray. Continuous operation is allowed at ambient temperatures up to 60 °C, and the electronics can be stored up to 70 °C without degradation. Mechanical fixation uses four M6 screws; each screw must be 40 mm long to reach the internal brass inserts. Proper clamping is achieved by tightening to 7 Nm, which maintains alignment under vibration. These mounting details simplify replacement and ensure consistent spool positioning within the hydraulic manifold even when the surrounding environment is warm or prone to moisture.
