The VT-DFPE-A-2X/G24K0/2A0F/V-017 is a directional valve control module produced by Bosch Rexroth within the VT-DFP Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated systems by interpreting electrical command signals and driving proportional spool movement. The electronics are designed for a nominal 24 VDC supply that can vary between +40 percent and −25 percent, allowing use on common machine power buses. Short-term conditions down to 21 V or up to 35 V are tolerated to ride through voltage dips or transients. With a static current draw of 0.6 A the device minimizes constant load on control transformers. A 100 Ω load on its analog current input sets the required compliance voltage for 4–20 mA command lines, while a voltage input impedance of at least 50 kΩ prevents excessive loading when 0–10 V references are used. Logic inputs treat levels below 0.6 V as low and accept highs from 21 V upward, so standard 24 V digital outputs can actuate the valve without signal conditioning.
For dynamic events the electronics can briefly draw up to 1.25 A, giving the coil enough force to shift the spool quickly. An internal analog monitor delivers up to 1.5 mA so supervisory circuits can read actual position or pressure without risking overload. Digital status lines can source or sink as much as 10 mA, with low states held below 1 V and high states reaching at least the supply voltage minus 5 V, which satisfies PLC input thresholds. The enclosure achieves an IP65 rating when the mating plug is connected, protecting the electronics against dust ingress and water jets encountered on hydraulic manifolds. System mass is 2.25 kg, light enough for direct manifold mounting without additional brackets. Hydraulic fluid feeding this valve must meet ISO 4406 class 18/16/13 to avoid contaminant-induced wear and to preserve metering accuracy. Together these parameters define electrical interfacing, environmental resilience, and maintenance requirements for reliable hydraulic automation.
