The VT-DFPE-A-23/G24K0/2A0F/V-021 is a directional valve produced by Bosch Rexroth within the VT-DFP Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated systems that require proportional control. The valve uses a 3/3 spool in the standard A version, so three flow paths can be opened or closed in both neutral and actuated positions. A proportional solenoid with feedback meters the spool position continuously to achieve repeatable flow rates. Integrated analog electronics manage this loop and operate from a 24 V DC supply, removing the need for external amplifiers. The electronics block is folded 90° clockwise toward the subplate to reduce height in tight manifolds. A standard leakage-oil compensation feature stabilizes spool centering under varying load forces. Actual pressure feedback is accepted as a voltage signal on terminal X2, allowing the controller to compare commanded and real pressures. The complete assembly weighs 2.25 kg, making placement straightforward during machine build.
A switchable pressure controller permits the user to toggle between directional and pressure-regulation modes without changing hardware. The valve withstands 400 bar at ports a and p, enabling use in high-pressure circuits, while port T is limited to 100 bar to protect return-line components. Hydraulic media may reach 70 °C in the working ports before derating is required, and FKM seals maintain integrity at this temperature range. The internal passages must receive oil cleaned to ISO 4406 18/16/13 to prevent spool scoring. Because the K0 designation omits a mating connector, wiring must be completed with a customer-supplied plug that matches the integrated header. These characteristics allow the valve to remain stable under demanding pressure cycles while meeting contamination and temperature constraints found in automated hydraulic machinery.
