The VT-DFP-A-21/G24K0/0/V valve is built by Bosch Rexroth under the VT-DFP Directional Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits where precise spool positioning and electrically driven actuation are required. The coil is rated for 24 VDC so it can be powered from common machine control supplies. External control electronics generate the drive signal while an inductive transducer reports spool position to the controller for closed-loop accuracy. The enclosure meets IP65 to resist dust ingress and low-pressure water jets during machine operation. Operating ports a and p can be pressurized up to 400 bar, and port T is limited to 100 bar, supporting high-pressure supply lines with a lower tank return rating. The hydraulic medium must comply with cleanliness class 18/16/13 per ISO 4406 so that internal clearances are not obstructed. Viscosity is allowed up to 380 mm²/s, enabling use with heavier oils at cold start without bypassing the metering orifices. Fluid temperature may reach +70 °C, and ambient air around the valve can be as high as +60 °C, ensuring compatibility with heated power units. Relative humidity up to 95 percent is acceptable, giving reliability in moist factory environments. For periods when the machine is idle the valve can be stored at temperatures up to +70 °C, and it withstands transport peaks of +85 °C without damage to elastomers or windings. These limits define the environmental envelope for handling, shipment, and service.
