The S20P15-1X/ valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the Type S Check Valves series and serves to stop reverse flow in hydraulic automation circuits. It is supplied in size 20, giving a seat dimension suited to medium-capacity manifolds. A threaded screw-in connection allows direct mounting into a cavity without additional flanges. The unit withstands a maximum operating pressure of 450 bar so it can be placed in high-pressure lines, while a flow capability of 450 l/min supports large return volumes. Its cracking pressure is fixed at 1.5 bar, meaning the poppet opens only after a small differential builds and stays closed during standby to limit leakage.

The required cleanliness level is ISO 4406 20/18/15, a value that protects the sealing edges from abrasive particles and prolongs service life. A weight of 1.0 kg keeps handling simple during installation and aids compact manifold design. The mean time to dangerous failure (Mttfd) is rated at 150 years, providing a long statistical lifetime for safety calculations. Functionally it is a check valve, so when flow ceases it closes immediately to block reverse movement and maintain system pressure.
