SF63A1-1-1X/12

The SF63A1-1-1X/12 valve belongs to the SF Prefill Valves series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. As a pilot-operated check valve, it holds hydraulic fluid in large cylinders until a pilot signal opens the passage, supporting rapid prefill and discharge cycles in automation presses. Its nominal size of 63 establishes a large flow cross-section for high-volume circuits, while a flange interface compliant with ISO 6162-1 DN 64 matches standard manifold blocks. Flow is allowed only from port A to port B, so the circuit designer can control cylinder movement direction through pilot pressure. The valve handles up to 800 l/min in case 1 service, making it suitable for fast-moving rams that demand high fill rates.

The maximum operating pressure of 350 bar defines the highest system pressure the main ports can withstand during clamping or forming strokes. A separate pilot port tolerates up to 150 bar, which is enough to unlock the main poppet without overstressing the pilot line. The pilot connection is cut with a G 1/4 thread to fit common hydraulic fittings, whereas the main pressure port uses a G 3/4 thread for larger flow paths. Because the installation position is unrestricted, the valve can be mounted horizontally or vertically to suit existing piping layouts. These features combine to simplify circuit design while maintaining secure fluid retention until pilot pressure is applied.
