The PV7-1X/63-71RE07MC5-16 adjustable vane pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the PV7 Adjustable Vane Pumps series. Designed for hydraulic automation circuits, it delivers 71 cm3 of oil per revolution so system designers can size actuators with predictable volume. The pump supports continuous operation up to 160 bar, allowing moderate-pressure machines such as clamp units or test rigs to run without external boosters. When driven at 1450 rpm it supplies a maximum flow of 108 l/min, matching common industrial motor speeds. A drive power limit of 33 kW at that speed helps select a suitable electric motor and prevents oversizing. Pressure fluid exits through a DN32 SAE 1 ¼" port while inlet oil is drawn through a DN51 SAE 2" suction flange, both implemented with SAE flange connections for straightforward tube routing. These ports sit in a 37 kg housing that can be mounted directly on a power pack frame.
The pump delivers up to 440 Nm of shaft torque, which ensures adequate mechanical margin when outlet pressure peaks. Case drain pressure must stay below 2 bar, so return piping should remain unrestricted to protect shaft seals. Internal cleanliness is maintained to ISO 4406 20/18/15, reducing wear in proportional valves downstream. Bosch Rexroth specifies HLP fluid according to DIN 51524-2, ensuring the vane cartridges receive the anti-wear additives they need. Leakage flow at zero stroke is 8 l/min, a value useful when sizing the cooler and reservoir. All dynamic seals are nitrile rubber, providing compatibility with the approved mineral oils. The unit accepts start-up viscosities up to 800 mm2/s, permitting cold-start operation in unheated plants without risk of cavitation.
