The PV7-1X/40-45RE37MCO-16 pump is part of the PV7 Adjustable Vane Pumps series from Bosch Rexroth and supplies pressure-regulated flow for hydraulic automation. It moves 45 cm³ of fluid per revolution, establishing the basic delivery rate for circuit calculations. A maximum operating pressure of 160 bar allows the pump to run medium-pressure machines without auxiliary boosters. Its clockwise rotation aligns with standard motor drives and maintains correct internal oil paths. The minimum speed of 900 rpm keeps the vanes lubricated and avoids incomplete filling at idle. Drive capacity reaches 280 Nm, so the shaft can accept direct coupling to common electric motors. When operated at 1450 rpm and 10 bar, the unit supplies a maximum flow of 66 l/min, supporting rapid movement of cylinders or hydraulic motors. Suction conditions must stay below 2.5 bar absolute to protect shaft seals, while at least 0.8 bar absolute is needed to prevent cavitation during high demand. The drain port withstands 2 bar so return oil can pass through coolers or filters without overstressing the housing. System lines connect to the pressure port using an ISO 228-1 pipe thread, and inlet oil enters through a 1 1/2 in ISO 6162-1 suction flange that fits standard hose assemblies. With the displacement set to zero at full pressure, internal leakage is limited to 6.5 l/min, which keeps heat generation low and maintains overall efficiency.
