The PV7-1X/40-45RE37MC5-16 adjustable vane pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the PV7 Adjustable Vane Pumps series and supplies variable flow for hydraulic automation circuits where stable pressure and compact installation are required. A Type C pressure controller adjusts outlet pressure automatically, and the K plate option defines the control characteristic. Displacement is fixed at 45 cm³ per revolution so volume output per shaft turn is predictable. At 1450 rpm and 10 bar the pump delivers 66 l/min, while 20.5 kW of drive power is needed when maximum pressure is applied. A permissible drive torque of 280 Nm allows direct coupling to standard electric motors, and rotation is specified as clockwise to match common motor orientation.
The unit withstands operating pressures up to 160 bar for use in moderate-pressure machinery, and it requires a minimum outlet pressure of 20 bar to keep the vane set seated during partial displacement. Internal leakage at zero stroke is limited to 6.5 l/min, helping reduce standby heat, and case drain pressure may reach 2 bar without damaging seals. Installation is through a 4-hole ISO 3019-2 mounting flange, fluid enters via an SAE 1 1/2 in suction flange to ISO 6162-1, and discharge is provided through a G1 pressure port to ISO 228-1. NBR sealing material contains the hydraulic fluid and tolerates common mineral oils.
