The PV7-1X/16-30RE01MC3-08 adjustable vane pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the PV7 Adjustable Vane Pumps series. It serves as a variable displacement source for hydraulic automation circuits in machinery. The unit provides a displacement of 30 cm³ per revolution so each shaft turn moves a fixed volume of oil through the system. At 1450 rpm and 10 bar it can supply a maximum flow of 43.5 l/min, allowing moderate actuation speeds in medium-size power units. When pressure rises to the 80 bar operating limit the pump draws 6.8 kW of drive power, which defines motor sizing for continuous duty. The outlet must not drop below 20 bar to maintain vane stability, and clockwise rotation viewed on the shaft matches common motor orientations. A mass of 17 kg permits direct mounting on motor adapters without additional supports.
The pump is intended for use with HLP hydraulic oils specified in DIN 51524-2, ensuring proper lubrication and wear control. Fluid entering the housing must meet ISO 20/18/15 cleanliness so the vanes and bore surfaces avoid abrasion. Continuous operation is allowed up to a fluid temperature of 70 °C, after which cooling or derating is required. Viscosity may reach 160 mm²/s at cold start but should be lower during normal running to keep volumetric efficiency steady. The inlet line must maintain an absolute pressure of at least 0.8 bar to prevent cavitation, while the pressure connection is threaded G3/4 according to ISO 228-1 for straightforward pipework. Oil is drawn through a G1 1/4 suction port that balances velocity with low inlet losses, and NBR seals provide compatibility with the stated fluid and temperature range.
