The PV7-1X/100-118RE07MC0-16 is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the PV7 Adjustable Vane Pumps series and supplies variable flow for hydraulic automation tasks. Its displacement is 118 cm³ per revolution, providing the volume needed for medium actuators in a single stage. At 1,450 rpm and 10 bar it delivers up to 171 l/min, allowing several consumers to be fed from one source. Stable operation is maintained down to 900 rpm, so machine builders can lower motor speed during idle periods. The shaft is designed for clockwise rotation, matching most standard drive arrangements. Housing strength supports a maximum operating pressure of 160 bar, making the unit suitable for moderate-pressure tooling circuits. A built-in pressure controller adjusts vane stroke to hold the commanded system pressure. Cavitation is prevented by requiring a minimum absolute inlet pressure of 0.8 bar.
The hydraulic circuit must meet ISO 4406(c) 20/18/15 cleanliness so the vane set avoids abrasive wear. HLP oil specified in DIN 51524-2 is the recommended fluid because its viscosity and anti-wear additives suit the pump’s running clearances. Internal leakage at zero stroke is limited to 11 l/min at maximum pressure, keeping standby heating low. Drain port back-pressure must not exceed 2 bar to protect the shaft seal. A drive torque capacity of 680 Nm permits direct coupling to high-power electric motors without intermediate gearing. Pressure and suction lines attach with SAE flanges in accordance with ISO 6162-1, simplifying hose selection and replacement. NBR sealing elements are installed, providing compatibility with conventional mineral oils while excluding aggressive or fire-resistant fluids.
