The PVV5-1X/154RA15UMC hydraulic pump is built by Bosch Rexroth as part of the PV Fixed Displacement Pumps series. It delivers 153.5 cm³ per revolution, so the displacement remains constant across its speed range. When the drive maintains 1500 min⁻¹, the pump supplies 223 l/min, which suits medium-to-high flow circuits. A minimum speed of 600 min⁻¹ keeps internal lubrication stable, while the maximum permissible speed of 1800 min⁻¹ at a 1 bar inlet allows quick cycle operation. Clockwise rotation direction aligns with common prime movers, and a shaft torque limit of 610 Nm defines how much mechanical load can be applied. Suction stability is supported by a minimum absolute inlet pressure of 0.83 bar to avoid cavitation and a maximum of 2.4 bar when a flooded inlet is available.
The unit works safely up to 175 bar system pressure, allowing it to drive actuators that demand substantial force. It mounts on a SAE-C (127-2) flange, and the overall mounting style follows the SAE J744 flange standard, which simplifies interchange with other fixed pumps. The pressure port is positioned on the bottom at 180°, easing hose routing in horizontal installations. HLP mineral oil meeting DIN 51524-2 is the required hydraulic fluid, and sealing is provided by NBR material to resist common petroleum media. A mass of 34 kg must be considered during installation and when selecting support brackets.
