The PVV21-1X/040-018RJ15DDMB pump is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the PV Fixed Displacement Pumps series. It supplies two separate circuits for hydraulic automation by combining 40.1 cm3/rev in the first stage with 18.0 cm3/rev in the second stage. A SAE-B 7/8 in, 13-tooth, 16/32 DP spline connects the drive shaft to the prime mover, and the shaft tolerates up to 316 Nm so transmitted torque remains within safe limits. When the input speed is 1500 rpm, the flange side can deliver up to 59 l/min while the cover side reaches 26 l/min, aligning flow to actuator demand. The flange side is rated for 175 bar maximum operating pressure, and a SAE-B (101-2) mounting flange positions the housing on standard motor brackets.
The cover side can withstand up to 210 bar, delivering higher pressure for circuits that require stronger clamping or pressing forces. Continuous operation is approved between 600 rpm and 1800 rpm, permitting slow creep or full-speed cycling without cavitation. Inlet conditions are maintained between an absolute minimum of 0.83 bar and a maximum of 2.4 bar to protect internal bearings and reduce aeration. A SAE 2 1/2 in suction port accepts large-diameter hose to minimize line losses, while discharge ports are split into a SAE 3/4 in connection on the cover and a SAE 1 in connection on the flange so each stage feeds its own circuit. These connection sizes simplify manifold routing while keeping velocity within limits set for the specified flow range.
