The PVV2-1X/068RA15DMB is a fixed-displacement pump in the PV Fixed Displacement Pumps series from Bosch Rexroth, intended to supply constant flow to hydraulic automation circuits. Its displacement is 67.5 cm³ per revolution, so each motor turn moves a predictable oil volume for repeatable actuator motion. The pump turns clockwise and therefore must couple to a prime mover that spins in the same direction. A cylindrical drive shaft simplifies alignment with standard flexible couplings, while the SAE-B 101-2 mounting flange lets the housing bolt directly to common motor faces. System plumbing is aided by a pressure outlet located on the top at 0° from the inlet; that port accepts an SAE 1-inch connection, whereas the suction side is sized for an SAE 1 1/2-inch fitting to reduce inlet velocity. NBR seals contain the working fluid, which must be HLP mineral oil conforming to DIN 51524-2. To avoid abrasion, the oil cleanliness target is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15.
The pump tolerates 175 bar continuous pressure, making it suitable for medium-pressure machine tools, presses, and fixture circuits. At 1 500 rpm it can deliver up to 100 L/min, while the allowable speed extends to 1 800 rpm when the inlet is held at 1 bar absolute to prevent cavitation. Operation should not fall below 600 rpm because lower speeds can increase flow ripple and reduce internal lubrication. The inlet circuit must stay between 0.83 bar and 2.4 bar absolute; remaining within this window avoids vapor formation at low pressure and bearing stress at high pressure, thereby maintaining service life under continuous duty.
