The PVV2-1X/045RD is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the PV Fixed Displacement Pumps series and supplies pressurized fluid to hydraulic automation circuits. It delivers 45.4 cm³ per revolution for a steady volumetric output. Shaft rotation is clockwise, matching power units that drive right-hand pumps. At 1500 rpm the unit provides up to 66 l/min, and it can operate continuously at 175 bar without overstressing the case. A peak speed of 1800 rpm is permissible when the inlet side sees 1 bar absolute, while a floor of 600 rpm prevents flow separation at low duty. The suction side uses an SAE 1 1/2-inch connection, and the housing mounts to prime movers through an SAE-B flange.
A minimum inlet pressure of 0.83 bar absolute must be maintained to avoid cavitation. The pressure outlet sits on the top at the 0-degree position and terminates in an SAE 1-inch port for straightforward line routing. HLP mineral oil specified by DIN 51524-2 is the required pressure fluid, and viscosity may not drop below 13 mm²/s to keep hydrodynamic lubrication intact. Fluid temperature must remain at or below 70 °C, and contamination levels are limited to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to protect internal surfaces. The assembled pump weighs 14.8 kg, allowing a single technician to install or remove it.
