The PVV1-1X/040RA15UMB pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the PV Fixed Displacement Pumps series. Designed for hydraulic automation, it delivers a fixed displacement of 39.5 cm³ per revolution to maintain predictable flow in closed-loop circuits. Clockwise rotation aligns with standard electric motor drives, and the maximum shaft speed of 1800 min⁻¹ defines the upper mechanical limit for continuous duty. When driven at 1500 rpm it outputs 59 l/min, providing enough volume for medium-size cylinders and motors. A continuous pressure rating of 160 bar supports moderate-pressure work functions without overloading the housing. SAE suction and pressure ports, fastened with UNC screws, simplify mounting to common hoses, while positioning the pressure port on the bottom 180° from the inlet helps keep line routing compact.
The pump handles HLP mineral oil specified by DIN 51524-2, so fluid compatibility is limited to standard hydraulic oils used in industrial machinery. A minimum viscosity of 13 mm²/s prevents metal-to-metal contact at high temperature, and the operating temperature window from –10 °C to +70 °C allows cold starts and warm running without damaging the seals. Absolute inlet pressures may not exceed 2.4 bar to avoid seal extrusion and may not drop below 0.83 bar to prevent cavitation at the suction side. The NBR seal material resists the listed oil and temperature range, maintaining tightness over long service intervals. With a weight of 12 kg the unit can be installed by a single technician, completing a compact power source for fixed-flow hydraulic automation.
