PR Radial Piston Pumps

The Bosch Rexroth PR Radial Piston Pumps are fixed displacement, valve-controlled pumps specifically designed for high-pressure, low-flow applications, offering a maximum working pressure of up to 700 bar. Their main function is to deliver a high-pressure flow with very low noise levels, making them ideal for machine tools and clamping systems. These self-priming pumps work by converting the rotary motion of an eccentric shaft into the reciprocating motion of pistons, which draw fluid in and force it out at high pressure, with valves controlling the fluid path. The compact design is installation-friendly, and their construction with hydrodynamically lubricated slide bearings ensures a long service life. They can also be combined with other fixed or variable vane pumps to create a multi-flow pump assembly.
