The PGP2-2X/006RE20VE4 gear pump is part of the PGH High Pressure Gear Pumps series from Bosch Rexroth and supplies hydraulic flow for automated machinery. Its clockwise direction of rotation matches power units that drive shafts in the right-hand sense. A displacement of 6.5 cm³ per revolution defines the volume moved each cycle, so system designers can size reservoirs and actuators accurately. When driven at 1450 rpm the pump outputs 9.4 L/min, providing a steady medium-range supply for valves and cylinders. The minimum speed of 600 rpm protects internal bearings by ensuring adequate oil film, while the maximum speed of 1800 rpm limits surface velocity to control wear. An ISO 3019/2 four-hole mounting flange permits direct coupling to standard motor faces, and the 3.0 kg weight allows installation without hoists.
The pump supports a continuous working pressure of 250 bar for normal duty cycles and tolerates intermittent peaks up to 350 bar during brief load spikes. It is intended for HL or HLP mineral oils specified in DIN 51524, which supply the lubricity and oxidative stability required by gear profiles. Fluid viscosity may range from 10 mm²/s to 300 mm²/s, giving flexibility for cold starts or high-temperature running while still protecting against cavitation. A maximum fluid temperature of 80 °C prevents thermal distortion of housings and gears. FKM seal material resists heat and mineral oil, maintaining leak tightness over long service intervals. Square flange ports in accordance with DIN 3901/3902 provide rigid, leak-free connections to manifold blocks and pipework in industrial hydraulic circuits.
