It serves hydraulic automation circuits as a tandem internal gear pump that provides two separate flows from a single drive train. Both pumping stages turn clockwise, a requirement for correct rotation on the drive shaft. The first stage displaces 16.0 cm³ per revolution and delivers 23.3 L/min when it operates at 1450 rpm under 10 bar, while the second stage displaces 6.5 cm³ per revolution and produces 9.4 L/min at the same speed and pressure. Continuous delivery begins at 600 rpm, so the assembly can start on low-speed motors without losing prime.
An absolute inlet pressure window of 0.6 bar to 3 bar prevents cavitation and protects the seals. The pump handles 210 bar during normal duty and tolerates peaks up to 250 bar, with mechanical parts tested for reliable service. It runs safely to 3600 rpm, matching common electric motor ratings. A 4-hole ISO 3019-2 E4 mounting flange aligns the housing in standard power packs. Pump 1 uses a cylindrical keyed through-drive shaft, permitting torque transfer to additional components, whereas Pump 2 has a shaft end with two flats for a claw coupling. Pump 1 and Pump 2 pressure ports both use the BSP thread form defined in ISO 228-1, allowing easy connection to widely available hydraulic fittings.
