It serves as a hydraulic prime mover that converts pressurized fluid into rotation for mobile or industrial drives. A displacement of 1340 cm³ per revolution defines the flow demand and establishes the speed-torque relationship of the unit. The specific torque is 21 Nm per bar, so output torque scales linearly with supply pressure for predictable control. Smooth operation is maintained down to 0.5 rpm, which supports low-speed positioning without cogging. The motor tolerates a maximum differential pressure of 400 bar during continuous duty, enabling high power density. The spring-applied, hydraulically released brake secures stationary loads with a holding torque of 7000 Nm. Releasing the brake requires a minimum pressure of 11 bar and consumes 36 cm³ of oil each cycle. Port Z for the brake circuit is rated for a maximum of 30 bar, matching common auxiliary supply lines.
