The control interface is based on an area ratio of 1:20 between pilot and load surfaces, allowing a small control pressure to release a significantly higher load pressure. The control port is threaded G1/4 to simplify pilot line attachment, and a separate G1/4 measuring port enables pressure checks during commissioning or maintenance. An internal 0.6 mm orifice meters pilot flow to damp switching events, while an O-ring measuring 37.69 × 3.53 mm seals the mounting face. FKM sealing material resists elevated temperatures and aggressive additives encountered in modern fluids. A secondary relief can be adjusted up to 300 bar to protect downstream components from excessive pressure. For reliable service the hydraulic fluid should meet cleanliness class 20/18/15 under ISO 4406.
