The FD16PA2X/B00V check valve belongs to the FD Check Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for directional blocking tasks in hydraulic automation systems. It is mounted on a sub-plate according to the ISO 5781-06-07-0-00 porting pattern, which simplifies replacement in manifold assemblies. Port B can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 420 bar, while ports A and X are rated to 350 bar so the designer can separate load and control pressures safely. The dedicated control port X accepts up to 350 bar and applies a 1:20 control-to-load pressure ratio to release the poppet when required. The valve handles flows up to 200 l/min, and a cracking pressure of 2 bar allows the poppet to open once the set differential is reached. Flow enters through 16 mm ports A and B, and no internal orifice is supplied, leaving pressure drop dependent solely on the seat geometry.
System cleanliness must be kept at 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 (c) to prevent contaminants from impairing poppet sealing surfaces. Approved hydraulic media are mineral oils of the HL or HLP classes defined in DIN 51524, and these are retained by FKM seals that tolerate the specified fluid and temperature range. Four M10 × 100 screws of grade 10.9 secure the housing; each screw requires a tightening torque of 75 Nm to achieve the necessary clamping load on the sub-plate interface. The assembled valve weighs 9 kg, allowing a single technician to position it during maintenance without lifting equipment. These mechanical and contamination limits ensure consistent blocking performance throughout the service life of the FD16PA2X/B00V in high-pressure circuits.
