The FD16FB2X/300B03V12 check valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the FD Check Valves series and is intended to manage directional blocking and controlled release in hydraulic automation systems. It is built with SAE flange connections and an integrated pressure relief valve, allowing direct mounting on manifolds. The nominal size of 16 supports a maximum flow of 200 l/min between ports A and B. Port A and the X pilot channel tolerate operating pressures up to 350 bar, while port B withstands 420 bar for high-pressure return lines. A secondary relief valve can be adjusted to 300 bar to prevent overload, and the X control port accepts pilot pressures to the same 350 bar value to open the poppet. An internal orifice measuring 0.3 mm meters pilot oil so pressure changes remain gradual during actuation.
The valve opens toward port B once the cracking pressure reaches 2 bar, whereas reverse flow from B to A begins to pre-open at 20 bar in combination with a 1:20 pre-opening area ratio that balances responsiveness with stability. A G 1/4 threaded control port simplifies connection of the pilot line. Mineral oil in the HL or HLP classes serves as the working fluid, and the design tolerates temperatures up to 80 °C without loss of sealing integrity. FKM fluorocarbon rubber seals resist heat and additives common in hydraulic oil. System cleanliness must be maintained at ISO 4406 20/18/15 to protect the seating surfaces and ensure long-term reliability.
