The FD16FA2X/B03V check valve is supplied by Bosch Rexroth as part of the FD Check Valves series for directional blocking tasks in hydraulic automation. It attaches to circuit blocks through an SAE flange connection, and the control port is provided with a G1/4 thread built to the ISO 228-1 standard for straightforward pilot line assembly. The valve accepts mineral oil in HL or HLP classification and requires a fluid cleanliness level of ISO 4406 20/18/15 to maintain reliable poppet seating. A 0.3 mm orifice meters pilot flow and helps damp switching transients. Forward flow from port a to port b begins once the 2 bar cracking pressure is reached, after which the unit can pass up to 200 l/min without exceeding its rated flow envelope. These features support stable, low-leakage isolation in medium-capacity power units.
In reverse operation the valve is held closed until a pilot signal raises b-side pressure; the control-to-load pressure ratio of 1:20 means only a small pilot force is needed compared to line force. An opening control pressure of 20 bar applied to port x overcomes the poppet spring and permits flow from b to a. The pilot channel tolerates up to 350 bar, matching the valve’s maximum operating pressure of 350 bar on ports a and x, while the b-side withstands 420 bar for high-pressure actuators. Fluoroelastomer sealing material (FKM) maintains tightness under these oil and temperature conditions, and the assembled body weighs 7 kg, allowing straightforward manifold mounting without additional supports. Together these ratings allow the FD16FA2X/B03V to provide dependable reverse-flow release and pressure holding in compact hydraulic circuits.
