The FD12PA2X/B03V check valve belongs to the FD Check Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is used to secure flow direction in hydraulic automation. An area ratio of 1:20 between the control and load surfaces allows the pilot stage to shift with modest pressure. Control port X can withstand 350 bar, the same maximum operating pressure permitted at port a, while port b is rated for 420 bar. Flow begins once the cracking pressure reaches 2 bar and can rise to 80 l/min without exceeding the design envelope. The valve is supplied in size 12, follows the ISO 5781-06-07-0-00 porting pattern, and requires sub-plate mounting for direct integration into a manifold.
The connection face carries 16 mm service ports, and a 0.3 mm orifice in the pilot line damps pressure fluctuations between control cavities. A 21.3 × 2.4 mm O-ring made of FKM seals the body against the plate and tolerates aggressive hydraulic fluids. The assembly weighs 9 kg, enabling manual handling during installation. Fastening to the manifold is achieved with M10 × 100 screws to DIN 912-10.9 specification, and each screw must be tightened to 75 Nm to keep the joint secure.
