EOBC eLion Onboard Chargers

The EOBC eLion Onboard Chargers series is a family of onboard chargers for battery-electric and hybrid off-highway vehicles. The series supports AC and DC charging communication, inlet management functions, CAN J1939 communication, and operation on either 1-phase or 3-phase grids. The units are designed for harsh vehicle environments with high ingress protection, wide ambient temperature capability, liquid cooling, and single-sided connector placement for easier installation. The platform also includes functional safety features such as charging-plug monitoring, emergency shutdown, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, overtemperature protection, and integrated high-voltage interlock support. In practical use, the series is intended to manage onboard charging and charging-related communication within electrified mobile machine systems.
