EMS eLion Motors

The EMS eLion Motors series from Bosch Rexroth is a heavy-duty electric motor platform developed for off-highway applications such as construction, agriculture, excavating, and material handling equipment. The series is built for harsh operating environments, with protection ratings up to IP6K7 and IP6K9K, mechanical resistance to 50 g shock and 10 g vibration, and reliable operation across ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +100 °C. Its modular portfolio includes multiple motor diameters, standard lengths, winding options, and both standard and high-speed variants, allowing the range to cover outputs up to 229 kW and torque up to 1,430 Nm. The motors are designed for straightforward mechanical integration with standardized flanges and shaft interfaces, helping connect them directly to axles, pumps, and gearboxes without added adapter stages. The series also emphasizes efficiency and electrification performance, with peak efficiencies above 97 percent across a broad operating range while supporting lower-emission mobile machine designs.
