EDS eLion Inverters

The EDS eLion Inverters series is a family of Bosch Rexroth traction and drive inverters developed for off-highway electrification applications, including diesel-electric, hybrid, and fully electric machines. The series is built for harsh mobile environments with heavy-duty protection up to IP6K9K, resistance to shock and vibration, liquid cooling, and communication over CAN J1939 with integrated diagnostic services. Across the range, the inverters support high-voltage operation from 270 to 800 VDC, multiple nominal current classes, peak-current capability above nominal rating, and motor outputs up to 200 kW. The platform also integrates functional safety features for mobile machinery, including Safe Torque Off, safe communication, safe actual speed, safe actual torque, monitoring functions, high-voltage interlocks, and protective measures against overvoltage at the motor phases. These characteristics make the series suitable for electrified off-highway machines that require robust power electronics, simplified vehicle integration, and machine-level safety support.
