EDCC eLion Converters

The EDCC eLion Converters series is a family of Bosch Rexroth DC/DC converters for off-highway electric vehicles, used to supply the low-voltage vehicle electrical system from the high-voltage battery. The series supports 12 V and 24 V low-voltage systems, provides up to 4 kW from a single unit, and can be operated in parallel when higher low-voltage power is required. It also supports bidirectional operation, including buck and boost modes as well as high-voltage DC link pre-charging and discharging functions. The units are built for mobile machine environments with CAN J1939 communication, integrated diagnostic services, high ingress protection, liquid cooling, wide ambient temperature capability, and functional safety features such as overvoltage and undervoltage protection and safe deactivation. The series is intended for managing low-voltage power conversion and related DC link functions in electrified off-highway machines.
