The BM6PN-1X/05D2-12RCS manifold block belongs to the BM Manifold Blocks series produced by Bosch Rexroth. It distributes pressure and return flow in hydraulic automation systems that use subplate-mounted directional valves. The block is built with five stations so that it can host five NG6 directional valve bodies on a single base. Overall length is 10.63 in, matching the five-station layout without wasting cabinet space. Stations are separated by a valve spacing of 2.13 in which provides sufficient room for coil clearance and service tools. A parallel, normal-flow circuit routes supply and return channels along the full length so each station receives identical pressure. The manifold follows the SAE Style 12 port thread standard to simplify hose selection across equipment. Pressure ports A and B are cut to 3/4-16 UNF (SAE-8) to accept medium-size work lines, while the primary P and T passages use 7/8-14 UNF (SAE-10) threads to handle higher pump and tank flow. A dedicated 9/16-18 UNF (SAE-6) gauge port lets the technician connect test instruments without disturbing the main lines.
The body can be ordered in 6061-T6 aluminum when weight is critical, or in ductile iron grade 65-45-12 when higher pressure capacity is required. The aluminum variant is rated for 3000 psi, giving adequate margin for standard industrial circuits, whereas the ductile iron version withstands 5000 psi for high-duty cycles. A Sun T-10A relief cavity with the pressure inlet in the nose is machined into the block so that an adjustable safety valve can be installed directly in the manifold. Each valve station accepts D03 (NG6) directional valves, secured by 10-24 UNC screws driven 0.50 in deep to maintain seal compression. The base itself attaches to a machine frame through 5/16-18 UNC holes drilled 0.45 in deep, allowing quick removal during maintenance. These mounting details keep the manifold stable while pressure pulses travel through the parallel passages.
