The AZPFF-22-028/016RPR12/12MB gear pump belongs to the AZPF External High Performance Gear Pumps series from Bosch Rexroth and supplies pressurized oil for hydraulic automation circuits in mobile machinery. The unit turns in a clockwise direction, so rotation matches conventional engine drives. It is fixed to the power source by a SAE J744 82-2 front flange with an 82.55 mm pilot, and M6 mounting threads 13 mm deep secure the housing. Drive torque is transmitted through a SAE J744 19-4 11T splined shaft that tolerates up to 180 Nm. Stage I moves 28 cm³ of fluid per revolution and can maintain 200 bar at the shaft limit. An NBR seal contains the medium, and both inlet and outlet ports use UN threads defined in ISO 11926-1.
Stage II of the same pump delivers 16 cm³ per revolution and is rated to 280 bar, supplying higher pressure for auxiliary functions that need compact flow. The hydraulic fluid must stay between 12 and 800 mm²/s during continuous duty, with cold starts permissible at viscosities up to 2000 mm²/s so thick oil does not stall the shaft. Because the rear cover is provided without a valve, circuit designers must arrange external pressure relief. Observing these viscosity limits prevents cavitation, while the displacement and pressure figures allow accurate calculation of flow and force in multi-stage automotive or industrial systems.
