The AZPFF-11-016/004RCB2020MB is a hydraulic pump built by Bosch Rexroth for the AZPF External High Performance Gear Pumps series, intended to move pressurized oil in automated machine tools and mobile equipment. It operates on an external gear working principle, which gives a steady flow rate at varying pressures. Two pump sections are integrated so that one assembly can feed separate circuits; Section I displaces 16.0 cm³ per revolution while Section II delivers 4.0 cm³ per revolution, supplying different volumes for main and auxiliary functions. Each section tolerates a maximum operating pressure of 280 bar, enabling operation in high-load actuator groups. A permissible rotation speed of 3000 rpm matches common electric or diesel prime movers and prevents cavitation at elevated flow demands. Clockwise rotation is specified to ensure correct port orientation during installation and prevent reverse flow. These attributes combine to give designers a compact means of generating two independent hydraulic outputs from one drive shaft.

The mechanical interface is defined by a tapered 1:5 drive shaft that centers itself under load and eases shaft coupling removal. A 3 × 5 mm key, sized to DIN 6888, locks the shaft to the prime mover and resists torque slippage. The pump mounts with a rectangular 80 mm front flange so it can bolt directly to standard gear-box or bell-housing patterns, and M6 mounting hole threads simplify fastener selection. Fluid enters and exits through a rectangular flange port connection that provides a broad sealing surface for high-pressure lines. A standard rear cover keeps overall length short and accepts optional drain fittings when needed. NBR sealing material is used throughout to withstand mineral oil exposure and maintain leak-tight performance across the temperature range expected in industrial hydraulics.
