The AZPF-1X/004LCB20MB gear pump is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the AZPF External High Performance Gear Pumps series and supplies hydraulic flow in mobile and industrial automation circuits. The unit delivers 4.0 cm³ of fluid per revolution, a displacement suited to steering and auxiliary functions. Its shaft turns counter-clockwise, so installation must match that rotation. Intermittent working pressure capability reaches 280 bar, allowing brief load peaks without damage. A rectangular flange on an 80 mm circle and an equal 80 mm pilot diameter center the pump and provide a rigid mounting face, while M6 mounting threads drilled 13 mm deep secure it to brackets. The drive end accepts up to 155 N·m of torque, enabling direct coupling to engines or electric motors, and the overall mass of 3.2 kg keeps added weight low.

The shaft connection uses a 3 × 5 mm DIN 6888 keyway so standard keys lock the pump to metric drive shafts. A 17 mm shaft end diameter balances strength with compatibility for compact couplings, and an M12 × 1.5 thread at the tip accepts retaining hardware that prevents axial movement during load reversals; together these features transmit torque reliably and maintain alignment. Fluid containment is handled by an NBR seal sized 17 × 30 × 7 mm, material and dimensions that resist common hydraulic oils and minimize leakage over long duty cycles. The seal sits around the same 17 mm shaft to form the primary barrier between the casing and ambient environment, and its standard size allows quick sourcing of replacements.
