The shaft may run no slower than 500 rpm when system pressure is under 100 bar, preventing inadequate hydrodynamic lubrication at very low speeds. Under the full rated pressure P2 and with a viscosity of 25 mm²/s, the minimum allowable speed rises to 600 rpm to maintain volumetric efficiency. Suction performance is secured by allowing absolute inlet pressures between 0.7 and 3 bar; the lower limit helps avoid cavitation, and the upper limit prevents seal overload.
