The AZMF-12-022-UQR12ML external gear motor belongs to the AZMF External Gear Motors series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It converts hydraulic energy into rotational motion for mobile and industrial automation systems. The unit has a displacement of 22.5 cm³ per revolution, which defines the volume of fluid moved during each shaft rotation and therefore the torque potential. Its universal direction of rotation lets designers mount the motor on either left-hand or right-hand circuits without changing the part number. A minimum rotation speed of 500 rpm is specified so that internal lubrication remains stable at light loads. An NBR seal set is fitted to resist standard mineral hydraulic oils and maintain leak-free service. The axial orientation of the drain port directs housing leakage downward, and the M12 × 1.5 drain thread matches common tube fittings for return lines. Installation flexibility is increased because the housing can be fixed by a flange or through-bolting, while screw or flange port connections offer compatible options for pressure and suction lines. This layout minimizes trapped air in the casing, and through-bolting gives a rigid link to cast frames where flange pads are not available. By offering both screw and flange pressure ports, the designer can choose between compact O-ring bosses or SAE four-bolt patterns without switching models, which reduces inventory and simplifies service across multiple machine variants.
