NBR seals are fitted to resist mineral oil and to maintain leakage tightness across the specified temperature band. The unit tolerates ambient conditions from –30 °C to 80 °C, enabling outdoor service in cold starts and high-temperature engine compartments. Fluid temperature may also rise to 80 °C without impairing material strength or volumetric efficiency, provided viscosity remains within the permitted range previously noted.
