The AZ-M-F-12-011-UQR12ML external gear motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the AZMF External Gear Motors series and supplies hydraulic power in automated machinery. It displaces 11.0 cm³ per revolution so the pump flow scales predictably with shaft speed. A universal direction of rotation lets the unit drive circuits that require either clockwise or counter-clockwise flow without extra adaptations. Installation is simplified because the housing accepts flange or through-bolting, letting designers fit the motor to different frames. Reliable operation begins at 500 min⁻¹ and extends to 3500 min⁻¹, a span that supports slow positioning as well as rapid cycling. It withstands ambient temperatures from −30 °C to +80 °C, making the motor suitable for cold storage plants or heated presses. The design works with mineral-oil hydraulic fluids defined by DIN/ISO standards, and fluid temperature is allowed up to +80 °C so reservoir heat does not force premature shutdown.

The pressure envelope aligns with medium-duty industrial actuators: the motor handles a continuous 250 bar and accepts 280 bar during startup, ensuring torque is available when cylinders first move. Leakage oil returning to tank must stay below 3 bar so internal seals are not overloaded. To keep wear at a minimum the supply should meet a cleanliness class of ISO 4406 19/16 with a particle rating of β₂₀=75, a level readily achieved by modern return-line filters. Dynamic sealing is provided by NBR elastomers, which maintain flexibility in the stated temperature range while remaining compatible with the required mineral oils.
