The AZ-M-F-012--011-UQR12ML-S0022 external gear motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the AZMF External Gear Motors series. It displaces 11 cm³ of hydraulic fluid per revolution, supplying a fixed flow for predictable actuator speed. Universal shaft rotation permits clockwise or counter-clockwise drive, simplifying installation in bidirectional circuits. Operating speed spans from 500 min⁻¹ to 3500 min⁻¹, covering slow positioning and rapid traverse tasks. Mineral oil that meets DIN/ISO requirements is the designated fluid, while a viscosity band of 12 mm²/s to 800 mm²/s sustains hydrodynamic film strength. A 2000 mm²/s start-up limit avoids boundary lubrication during cold starts, and NBR seals contain the oil across the intended viscosity range.
The motor’s drain oil outlet is placed axially so hoses can run straight back toward the reservoir in compact machinery. A threaded M12 × 1.5 leakage port with a minimum depth of 13 mm ensures full thread engagement for secure fitting. Continuous case temperatures may reach +80 °C, and the design endures ambient conditions down to –30 °C, allowing service in both hot and cold environments. Leakage and return lines are rated for 3 bar, enabling the use of standard low-pressure piping without risking seal damage. These limits protect bearings and sealing surfaces while the motor delivers reliable torque in hydraulic automation systems.
