The AZ-M-F-008-UQR12ML external gear motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the AZMF External Gear Motors series and is intended to drive hydraulic actuators in automated machinery. It displaces 8.0 cm³ per revolution, setting the basic flow rate available to downstream circuits. Continuous operation is permitted at 250 bar, while starting events can reach 280 bar to overcome static friction. The unit operates across a speed range from 500 to 4000 min⁻¹, so controllers can match flow to varying load demands. Rotation is reversible, which enables bidirectional cylinder movement without changing plumbing. A maximum case-drain pressure of 3 bar protects shaft seals and reduces internal leakage.
The motor withstands ambient temperatures up to +80 °C, and the hydraulic fluid may reach the same +80 °C limit without derating performance. NBR sealing elements retain oil under these conditions and resist the stated pressures. Startup is acceptable with oil viscosity as high as 2000 mm²/s, allowing cold-weather engagement. System oil cleanliness must stay at or below class 19/16 per ISO 4406 to minimize wear on gear surfaces. The drain port is tapped M12 × 1.5 with a minimum depth of 13 mm to secure the return line and maintain the specified pressure margin.
