The AA2FM125/61W-VSD520 fixed displacement motor is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the A2FM Fixed Motors series. It converts hydraulic flow to rotary motion in industrial automation systems. The motor displaces 125 cm3 per revolution, defining the fluid volume required for each shaft turn. A nominal speed of 4000 rpm sets the upper continuous operating speed, and the corresponding inlet flow reaches 500 l/min so pump capacity can be matched accurately. At the rated pressure of 400 bar the motor develops 796 Nm of torque, delivering predictable drive force in constant-pressure circuits. The design withstands momentary surges up to 450 bar, allowing brief pressure peaks without reducing service life.
The motor supports bidirectional rotation, enabling quick reversal of motion without additional plumbing changes. A minimum high-pressure side of 25 bar prevents cavitation during low-load operation, while a combined port pressure limit of 700 bar governs differential loading when multiple actuators share a manifold. Case differential pressure is restricted to 2 bar in continuous duty, with short peaks up to 10 bar accepted at start-up to protect internal seals. A rotor moment of inertia of 0.0116 kg·m² influences acceleration, and a rotary stiffness of 11.9 kNm/rad limits torsional deflection under load. The 45 mm shaft diameter provides a standard mechanical interface, and FKM seal material offers chemical resistance to common hydraulic fluids.
