A minimum absolute inlet pressure of 12 psi prevents cavitation, and a maximum suction height of 31.5 inches limits the vertical distance between reservoir and port. Housing drainage returns through a 1 1/16-12 UN-2B threaded drain port, and backpressure in this circuit must stay below 29 psi to protect shaft seals. The hydraulic medium may reach temperatures up to 115 °C without degrading components. FKM seals are installed to withstand this elevated temperature and common fluid chemistries. Together, these inlet, drain, and thermal limits position the pump for reliable duty in closed-loop or open-loop hydraulic automation systems.
